The weekend of July 16th– 17th saw Round 3 of the ACO GT3 Le Mans Cup take place in Austria at the Red Bull Ring.
The driver pairing of Ivor Dunbar & Johnny Mowlem took to the track and finished in 6th place. This is their best result in the Championship so far, with three rounds still remaining.
The team was initially delayed with an incident at the first corner in the race. The result being the car dropped to the tail of the field and the pairing had to fight back into race contention.
Johnny and Ivor set about their stints with gusto and a strong competitive spirit. This saw the drivers overtake a number of cars and rise back through field, to record a sixth place finish after two hours of racing.
The fourth round is at Paul Ricard in the South of France on August 26th & 27th.
